Deane House Wedding
Ive known Jill for years, we met while working together in the ER in red deer. I met Andrew at work as well! although I never got to spend a lot of time with him, it was easy to tell what a kind and outgoing person he was. Now I may be biased because she’s my friend, but I’m sure I wouldn’t be the only person to say what a amazing person Jill is! and that she oozes care & joy! I got to know her sister through nursing work & working weddings, so this wedding was magical on so many levels! I felt like more then a guest then I did a photographer! The fact that Jill & Andrew had a smaller wedding at a quaint restaurant in Calgary only made it all the more intimate & relaxed!
I came to Calgary the night before & attended the dress rehearsal, which gave me the chance to meet Andrews family & Jill’s parents. (something I think it extremely important to do before the wedding day!)
The next day it was amazing to see Peydon and her sister there doing make up!
After a couple hilarious hours of doing hair and make up with Jill and her closest people we took off to the Church.
Photos By Dallas
The Catholic church was gorgeous to shoot & the ceremony was sweet, simple and beautifully meaningful. The Father did an amazing job of keeping the sermon light, joyful & relatable to everyone there.
One of my favorite moments at a wedding is the few minutes right before the ceremony! everyone is twitter pated, excited and nervous all at the same time!
My Paul had, had Wilson (their pup) at the hotel & was bringing him to us for photos after the ceremony. He surprised Jill & Andrew by bringing him into the doors of the church right at the end of the ceremony, he sat perfectly and awaited his parents to be married and race down the aisle to him.
Afterwards, Paul drove us to a few locations we had scouted the day before. It was so cold that we didn’t get a lot of time out side, but we snuck into a coffee shop (PERFECT for Jill & Andrew) and later into a Persian rug store where we hid from customers!
Some how we found a barn in the middle of downtown Calgary.
We made it back to the Deane House in time before our fingers froze off!
My soul mate (and past bride) Becky was there too!!! and we partied the way only Dallas & Becky can party.
Jill & Andrew’s wedding was an all around amazing day! The Wedding was magical, the photos were a down right adventure, the Deane house was the perfect place to have a wedding reception & Dance. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was wonderful and the service was impeccable!
I hope you enjoyed viewing their day half as much as I enjoyed living it!!
